How Kasi-Link collects, uses, shares, stores and deletes personal information.

Effective 31 August 2026

1. Who we are

Kasi-Link, operated by Morvana Group in South Africa, is an e-hailing and transport-coordination platform for passengers, drivers and authorised administrators.

Responsible partyKasi-Link / Morvana GroupHouse No. 1750, Mothibistad Unit 2, Kuruman, Northern Cape, 8474deenabster@gmail.com064 757 5023

2. Information we collect

  • Account details such as name, phone number, email address and account role.
  • Pickup, destination, route, trip status, ride history and receipt information.
  • Passenger and driver location during dispatch, pickup and active trips.
  • Driver location while an approved driver chooses to remain online, including in the background where permission is granted.
  • Driver identity photograph, vehicle details and compliance documents.
  • Support requests, SOS records, payment status and technical information required to operate and secure the service.

3. Why we use information

  • Create and manage accounts.
  • Match passengers with approved drivers and calculate routes and fares.
  • Allow the passenger and assigned driver to see relevant live locations during a trip.
  • Verify drivers, manage trips, issue receipts and provide support.
  • Investigate safety incidents, fraud, complaints and payment disputes.
  • Meet legal, safety, financial and operational obligations.

4. Location information

Passengers share location for pickup and active-trip functions. Approved drivers share location while online so Kasi-Link can dispatch nearby rides and keep active trips updated. Background driver location is requested only after a clear explanation and only when the driver chooses to go online. A driver can stop sharing by going offline, and users can also control permission in device settings.

5. Sharing

Kasi-Link shares only information needed for the service. This can include information between a passenger and their assigned driver; authorised administrators and support personnel; emergency responders where safety requires it; and contracted hosting, database, email, notification and mapping providers. Kasi-Link does not sell personal information.

6. Security

Kasi-Link uses authenticated accounts, access controls, private document storage, time-limited file links and database security rules. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but reasonable technical and operational safeguards are applied.

7. Retention and deletion

Account information is kept while an account is active and only as long as reasonably needed afterwards. When an account is deleted, account access and directly associated profile information are removed or de-identified. Limited records may be retained where required for safety investigations, fraud prevention, unresolved disputes, tax, financial reporting or another legal obligation.

Users can delete their account inside the app or use the public account-deletion page.

8. Your choices

Users may request access, correction, restriction or deletion of personal information where applicable. Device permissions can be changed in phone settings. Contact deenabster@gmail.com for privacy assistance.

9. Children

Kasi-Link is intended for people legally able to use ride-hailing services, or those using the service with appropriate consent and supervision where required.

10. Changes

Material updates will be made available through the app, this site or an official communication channel.
